Doutorando em Educação pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), é professor da área de Fundamentos, Política e Gestão da Educação do Instituto Federal do Ceará (IFCE). Líder do Grupo de Pesquisa Educação, Política e Formação (GEPF-IFCE) e membro da Rede de Pesquisa em Política de Avaliação Educacional e Accountability (Repae).
