Percepção de professores sobre a educação ambiental no ensino fundamental
Abstract
A inserção da educação ambiental nas escolas é avaliada a partir da opinião de professores em atividade no ensino fundamental do Distrito Federal. As impressões dos professores demonstram que este tema consiste em atividades esporádicas e superficiais, muitas vezes restritas às disciplinas de Geografia e Ciências. As principais dificuldades dos professores dizem respeito às questões orçamentárias e estruturais, como, também, à motivação, capacitação e compreensão do tema, além de dificuldades de relacionamento entre si e em liderar projetos e comprometer-se com o seu andamento. A parceria entre centros de pesquisa e as escolas é considerada como primordial na busca de mudanças neste quadro. Abstract The insertion of the environmental education in the schools is evaluated starting from the opinion of teachers' from the fundamental teaching of Distrito Federal. The teachers' perception demonstrate that this theme consists of sporadic and superficial activities, often restricted to the disciplines of geography and sciences. The teachers' main difficulties say respect to the budgetary and structural subjects, as well as to the motivation, training and understanding of the theme, besides difficulties in the relationship among teachers and in leading and commiting with the course of school projects. The communication between research centers and the schools is considered as primordial in the search of changes in this situation.
