In two voices, all voices: narrative-biographical conferences about teacher-training in Brazil and Colombia
Abstract
This article presents the dialogue between its authors regarding the living, teaching and researching arrangements in the context of the Teacher Training Program of the Rio de Janeiro State University (Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro – FFP/UERJ) and the Technological University of Pereira (Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira – UTP), Colombia. It evaluates the unfoldments of a program developed, in December 2016, themed: “Biographical-narrative dialogues in social, political and cultural transformative processes”, which aims to share conceptions and actions that portray the power existent in the gathering and in the narrative of the movements of teacher and human formation, specially through oral, written and videographic narratives. The theoretical and methodological benchmarks are based in the self-biographical narrative research/formation, and the dialogue between Brazil and Colombia shares theoretical and methodological values and ethical, esthetical, and political commitments, reaffirming the strength in the voices and stories of youngsters still developing.
