Trajetória do Saeb: criação, amadurecimento e desafios
Abstract
O processo de desenvolvimento do Sistema de Avaliação da Educação Básica (Saeb) envolve o cenário das políticas educacionais, as fontes para seu financiamento e as ações na área de avaliação desde o final dos anos 1980. Apresentam-se as ideias norteadoras que impulsionaram sua criação, comparando-as com as que foram sendo colocadas em seu lugar, com destaque para a centralização da operação pelo MEC. Por fim, discute-se brevemente a importância de o Plano Nacional de Educação possibilitar a retomada de algumas das ideias fundantes do sistema.Downloads
