Colaboración, educación y cultura digital: experiencias en escuelas primarias de la ciudad de Buenos Aires
Abstract
This article analyses three collaboration-based experiences in primary schools covered by the Plan Sarmiento BA, the one-to-one learning programme implemented by the city of Buenos Aires. From the paradigm of digital culture, and taking collaboration as one of its fundamental values, the paper examines the benefit in terms of knowledge construction and the promotion of quality in education. To this end, it analyses the way in which collaboration is integrated into teaching and learning activities, in projects that incorporate resources and practices characteristic of digital culture. After making observations using quantitative and qualitative information – including testimonials from teachers and pupils – the conclusion reached is that collaboration enriches learning and promotes quality in education, at the same time that it reinforces pupils as knowledge creators and producers, in a context of diversity.
